Betsy's Closet is pieced

I have finally pieced my Betsy's Closet quilt. I used a jelly roll of Oh Cherry Oh from my stash for the sashing .
I also realised I hadn't posted a picture of my finished Cottages of the month
I still haven't framed it but I will.
Today I stitched on Red Crockery a DMC kit I bought awhile back here's my progress so far.

Well it's about time I updated this blog

I was reading the other day how blogger reuses blogs that haven't been used in a while so I decided I had better update mine.

I finished this lovely design and sent it off to Liz in
Australia and she sent me the most beautifully packaged gift
I won the most beautiful bag from Ilke Cochrane of Mabel Figworthy's Fancies

I won the bag in a blog hop and promised I would blog about it sorry it's taken me so long.
I received some lovely goodies all with a snow theme from Colleen in Elko Nevada
I finished BBD Rewards of Merit Small Token and this was sent off in a Valentine exchange I received this one back from Lynda
I visited Geneva and found a wonderful cafe called The Laughing Teapot about two doors away from a beautiful if very expensive LNS

I finished my Prayer Mat I started the Ramadan last year and I started a new one this year
I finished a Jardin Prive called Welcome to London
I started another Jardin Prive chart called Sampler aux Bouquet which   is really 3 charts . I started on chart number 3 as I prefer to stitch from right to left no idea why but for me that's easiest.
I am sure I have forgotten to add in all my finishes but I think that's enough for now
Will try to update more often
Sorry for the upside down pictures I have tried to edit some things but blogger is not cooperating
It's my own fault I have forgotten how to edit.

September finishes ! It's now November but I just found this update I never posted

Well September is nearly over so I suppose I should have blogged a while ago.
Still waiting for the weather to turn cooler.
It's now November and although the weather is cooling down its still very hot during the day
The first picture is of August Cottage. The second is one of the blocks from Betsy's Closet.
Next is a sewing kit I made for my granddaughter I used a tutorial http://lotsofpinkhere.blogspot.com/2011/09/travel-sewing-kit-tutorial.html
Sorry about this but blogger on my iPad does not let me insert links.
Then comes another block from Betsy's Closet ( for more pictures check out this link http://betsysclosetstitchalong.blogspot.com/ )
The last picture was how my Seasonal Band Sampler from Little House Needleworks looked like at the end of September.

I seem to have forgotten June

It seems that I have been so busy stitching that I have not blogged for a while.
I have finished April, May and June cottages

I made a bag out of the freebie kit I received from Jillann.

It's nearly May

I need to get my skates on and stop browsing the web. I need to finish my April cottage as my threads have arrived along with a few things that fell into the basket. I am using a lovely online shop for my supplies called .The Patchwork Rabbit don't you just love that name.

Stash from the Patchwork Rabbit
I am stitching slowly at the moment but I do have some finishes. I finished a Blackbird Design from A Stitcher's Journey after getting help from Alma at Blackbird designs with my colours. Thank you Alma for such prompt help
