Well September is nearly over so I suppose I should have blogged a while ago.
Still waiting for the weather to turn cooler.
It's now November and although the weather is cooling down its still very hot during the day
The first picture is of August Cottage. The second is one of the blocks from Betsy's Closet.
Next is a sewing kit I made for my granddaughter I used a tutorial http://lotsofpinkhere.blogspot.com/2011/09/travel-sewing-kit-tutorial.html
Sorry about this but blogger on my iPad does not let me insert links.
Then comes another block from Betsy's Closet ( for more pictures check out this link http://betsysclosetstitchalong.blogspot.com/ )
The last picture was how my Seasonal Band Sampler from Little House Needleworks looked like at the end of September.

It's nearly May
I need to get my skates on and stop browsing the web. I need to finish my April cottage as my threads have arrived along with a few things that fell into the basket. I am using a lovely online shop for my supplies called .The Patchwork Rabbit don't you just love that name.

Two more finishes well almost
I have finished February and March in the CCN Cottages of the month and started April. I count these as finishes even though they are all part of a series of 12 which will eventually be one nice large picture. The cottages are stitching up quickly though of course the frogs have been visiting and sometimes it is 20 stitches in 20 stitches out. A bit like the hokey dokey. You can also see that I stitch in hand and my fabric does get a little creased. Next time I will iron it .
A sideways picture of some stash that just happened to fall in my basket while browsing the internet.
This is a close up of some of the threads I just had to have |

Its time to be brave
This is my first post. I set up the blog months ago but I have taken until now to be brave enough to post. This blog will be about my stitching adventures. I have loved stitching as long as I can remember. My mother was a tailoress and so I was lucky enough to have always had fabric and thread around me.
My DH most probably thinks I have more than enough. I tell him that's because it is spread around not in one room as I unfortunately do not have a dedicated space.
It seems I will only be able to add photos at the end.
My latest finish is Lavender Garden by Martina of Chatelaine designs published in TGOSM.
I will also add a photo of my Shabby Roses Quilt designed by Jenny of Elefantz blog and a ornament I made for an exchange. I used part of the Winter Band Sampler from LHN.
