This is my first post. I set up the blog months ago but I have taken until now to be brave enough to post. This blog will be about my stitching adventures. I have loved stitching as long as I can remember. My mother was a tailoress and so I was lucky enough to have always had fabric and thread around me.
My DH most probably thinks I have more than enough. I tell him that's because it is spread around not in one room as I unfortunately do not have a dedicated space.
It seems I will only be able to add photos at the end.
My latest finish is Lavender Garden by Martina of Chatelaine designs published in TGOSM.
I will also add a photo of my Shabby Roses Quilt designed by Jenny of Elefantz blog and a ornament I made for an exchange. I used part of the Winter Band Sampler from LHN.

Hi, nice to see you in blogland.
ReplyDeleteMy needlework also has no specific space so it's spread all over my house. But you know, I like it that way. I've even got enough of it that I store some in the closet and periodically rotate what's on my walls. Your shabby rose quilt is lovely. My grandmother (who taught me to stitch) was a quilter. I never took up the craft, but I have tremendous admiration for people who do. I still have several of the quilts she made for me and they are prized possessions.
ReplyDeleteYour new blog is fabulous. Beautiful finish!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful stitching.
